Food Assistance
Ramna Samaj Kalyan Society is committed to supporting underprivileged communities by providing essential food assistance during times of need. Through food distribution programmes, Ramadan Sehri and Iftar initiatives, and emergency food aid for COVID-19-affected families, the Society strives to reduce food insecurity and bring relief to vulnerable individuals and families.
Our Initiatives
Food was distributed among 500 destitute people, street children, rickshaw pullers, day labourers and other underprivileged individuals in the Siddheswari area of the capital.
Location: Siddheswari, Ramna, Dhaka.
Food packages were distributed among 100 families affected by COVID-19. The programme was attended by the Society’s Chairman, Abdus Sattar Suman; Secretary, Atikur Rahman; and other members.

During Ramadan, volunteers of Ramna Samaj Kalyan Society prepared food packets for distribution of sehri and iftar supplies among disadvantaged people, poor families and slum residents.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2025, meat was distributed among 400 underprivileged and poor people. As part of the programme, five cows were sacrificed and the meat was distributed among eligible beneficiaries.
